With the business challenges we are all facing due to the Covid-19 crisis, the team at Proud Pup Media will not be operating under normal business hours into the foreseeable future. It is therefore important to communicate our response in the most transparent and direct way.
Our office is located in Edmonton Alberta, Canada and while we are a small operation, and therefore can and do work from a home office, we do have to consider the direct impact this crisis is having not only on our family unit but those around us who are impacted by school closures, businesses shutting down around us and the importance of physical distancing measures we are all taking part in.
While we know that you are doing your very best to adhere to physical distancing protocols you can never be reminded too often, am I right?
Do Web Design Services Matter During The Coronavirus (Covid-19) Crisis?
No is the answer, but not in the way you may think.
In the current situation of the Covid-19 crisis there are more important things to spend our time, energy and money on. Food, shelter, peace of mind and keeping those we love safe and kids happy while maintaining physical distancing until we no longer need to is of primary concern.
Having said that, the web will always be an essential tool for people to find information, connect with those we love and things we care about, the products we purchase to enhance our lives and the myriad information we need to stay in touch with the world. And these days, people rely on the connection to information more than ever.
Please be assured that we are committed to our clients who rely on us to manage their WordPress websites, provide uninterrupted hosting services, and ongoing web design, SEO and website care plans. We don’t foresee any interruption in these services and will continue operating at full capacity. We just might be busy homeschooling and supporting those more vulnerable in our community as we scramble to understand and adapt to the unknown trajectory and effect Covid-19 is having on all our lives.
We are in close contact with our website hosting providers, at a physical distance of course, and partners to ensure service continuity. Please don’t hesitate to contact us and know that we are doing our best in this situation as it unfolds.
